Hi everyone,
I’ve always been passionate about sharing the joy of building cool scale models and diving into the rich narratives that come with them. My primary focus remains on creating and sharing detailed steps, tutorials, and tips to help you on your Maschinen Krieger journey. However, after some thoughtful consideration, I’ve decided to expand my store offerings to include a few of my favorite core kits. These are kits I personally love, and I believe they will enhance your modeling experience, especially if you’re following along with my books.
Introducing the MK44 AMMOknight - The Perfect Starter Kit
First up, I’m thrilled to introduce the MK44 AMMOknight from Hasegawa. This 1/20 scale model kit is, without a doubt, my number one recommendation for anyone looking to start their Maschinen Krieger journey. The MK44 AMMOKNIGHTS are heavily armored combat suits, engineered for high-speed operations with smartgun tracking technology. Notable machines include the "Queen of Spades," with its distinct white face hatch, and the blood-stained "Angel," piloted by Captain Wolf Lichtenstein of the "Devil Octopus" unit.
These suits aren’t just visually striking—they’re packed with narrative potential, combining advanced weaponry with rich story elements. These backstories will be fully featured in the updated second edition of my Vol. 1 MK44 The Lincoln Ma.K Report, currently in production. For now, you can grab the first edition in digital format here.
This kit is a fantastic introduction to the Maschinen Krieger universe. It’s a fun build with plenty of opportunities for customization. With a full interior and options for a heavy "armor" texture, this kit also includes a standing pilot figure—a unique feature in the MK44 series. This particular ALTAIR, known as the Red 4 "Kubrick, is a standout piece, featuring in the Flensburg Museum of Military Technology after surviving ten intense battles. It’s a kit that offers a detailed and accurate representation of this formidable machine, perfect for any Maschinen Krieger collection.
A New Favorite: The ARTPLA Pak Kröte Long/Short Barrel 2 Kit Set
Lastly, I’m beyond excited to offer the ARTPLA Pak Kröte Long/Short Barrel 2 Kit Set from Kaiyodo. This set includes two 1/35-scale Pak Krote machines—one with a long-barreled gun and one with a short-barreled gun. A special highlight is the inclusion of "Victor," a character who made his first appearance in the original SF3D. This kit, while not yet featured in my books, is a personal favorite of mine—I’ve already picked up two for myself!
