Hey friends, hope you are super well!
I'd like to take this opportunity to share a little more on the overall Großer Hund project. In truth, it feels like my most ambitious and yet complete so far.
I do apologize that the cadence is probably a little different from what you are used to. Most creators seem to share and complete one "thing" at a time. With this project, I'd like to offer you an overall view of a series.
I've pushed ahead with the builds and paint scheme planning. Yes, this is also planning a difference between weathering steps and styles for you. Not the same thing across 6 models and I'd like to make them as unique as possible.
Somewhat like I did for MK44 but MAWR!
Plus I also need to admit, I simply did not know this much about the Big Dogs before. I didn't realize how cool and complex it actually is and would love to guide you through it.
There are 3 types of Großer Hund. Ground-based, space-based, and moon-based. There's an early and late-type for each. Yes, that's our 6.
Across these 6 there are some character changes to the canon paint schemes that I think will be fun to show.
Lastly, we can also advance from the lessons learned and shown in MK44 and LUNA COMBAT with regard to both paint and weathering steps.
I'm almost done with the builds and then I will be doing a number of the paint steps - and videos for them - in quicker succession for you if that makes sense?
It's going to be really fun.
