Speed painting with lacquers an Airfix BF-109 for my LHS, Hobbyco Sydney Australia!
Morning guys, here's a brilliant little side quest just completed - the owner of my local hobby shop, Mr Mike Wall, was invited to come on TV to talk about how having a hobby to help us get through lockdown and isolation. Hobby shops now being essential services.
Mike then tapped me to quickly make him an Airfix kit from the starter range. Spitfires were naturally sold out so the classic BF-109 it is!
Couple of hours on the build, couple more for paint and maybe 30mins on super fast weathering.
It was really fun and I remember now, I LOVE airplanes and will do more again soon. Just maybe something a little bigger... 🙄😆
